Controller compatibility: Wii remote and Nunchuck

Star Wars games have often been varied in quality. The Lego games are no doubt a highlight, but this title is ready and waiting to reveal a whole new story between the third and fourth episodes of the saga. The question here though, is simply this: is it any good on Wii? The answer? Sort of.
Basically, in this game the Wii remote is your light sabre and the Nunchuck is there to use up your force powers. You can combine moves together, such as in one instance where you can use the sabre throw technique(pulled off by holding A, and then swinging the remote to the left) whilst combining it with the force grip move(hold Z and move the Nunchuck upwards), will lift your opponent up and then you impale them with your sabre. There are many more cool moves and combos you can pull off, but this is spoiled for a large portion of the game, since it is often too easy, meaning you can get away with the standard moves just about all of the time.
This is where the game mainly falls, since using simple attacks will vanquish your opponents, allowing you to run through the game in a few hours and only be killed about 5 to 6 times. To make matters easier, when you do die you respawn at the last checkpoint but all the enemies you killed before death are still dead so there a no means of a challenge here at all. Once again, the same thing happens when you fight a boss. If you die to one of these enemies, you respawn and the boss’s health is almost the same as it was before. At the start of the game, the difficulty is largely fine and a bit of a challenge but once you get the ability to upgrade your force powers you can just simply hold C button and kill an entire squad of stormtroopers, leaving little difficulty whatsoever.
The game isn't all bad though, with the story being one of the best parts of the game, (that is, if you’re a fan of the Star Wars series in the first place) as this title fills in a couple of plot holes that happen during episode four, making this game more neccesary for fans. At the beginning of the game, you play as the famous Darth Vader who has located a Rouge Jedi on the planet Kashyyyk. This Jedi has been sent by Darth Sidious to kill Vader, but before the Jedi get's caught by the black wonder, Vader discovers that he has a son, killing the Jedi and taking the young boy to be his secret apprentice. Throughout the game you play as this apprentice as you complete various tasks set by Vader himself, but so I don't ruin some of the best parts of the game, I will say nothing more on this.
This game has come out on multiple formats but the Wii has an exclusive duel mode feature which allows you and a mate to have one on one 'sabre matches on locations from across the SW universe. Once again though, you can just hold down the C button and kill your opponent in a matter of seconds, thus taking away any challenge, meaning that the fun isn't as great as you may first anticipate.
Overall, if you want a good sword swinger game I'd recommend No More Heroes over this. For Star Wars fans though, this game is still a must have, mainly due to the revealing and exciting storyline.

Other 3
Far too short, but the storyline is excellent and makes up for some of the other losses
