StarFox's 3DS iteration was also announced for release in September, and allows players to see images of their opponents live.
Next up was Super Mario, which features the return of Super Mario Bros 3's Tanooki suit, as well as a variety of new tactics, such as the ability to take enemies out whilst jumping, Sonic style. Reggie Fils-Aime reminded everyone that it is the first completely new 3D handheld Mario game, due for release later this year.
Also detailed was Kid Icarus: Uprising, which includes a 3 on 3 battle mode, and implementation of battles via Augmented Reality cards.
The last title to be announced in this block was a completely new title - Luigi's Mansion 2, which is an entirely new game in response to the GC original, and contains several mansions, as opposed to one.
