The show began today with Miyamoto discussing the Zelda series' 25th anniversary, accompanied with a full orchestra, which played along to a montage of classic games. To celebrate the occasion, The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening is the first Game Boy Colour game to make it to the 3DS eShop, before reminding us about Ocarina of Time 3D, due out soon with special hint movies to aid new players.
Co-operative Legend of Zelda: Four Swords was also announced as a free download for the DSi/3DS shop later this year, and Skyward Sword as a holiday 2010 game, also available with a special golden Wii remote.
In addition to the games, the orchestra will also be touring "each region" in fall of this year, and two special CD's will be available containing music from the upcoming game (free for Club Nintendo members who register OoT online), and an orchestra soundtrack releasing alongside Skyward Sword.
