Looks like from now until August 21st, SEGA fans have been given the opportunity to select a Genesis title they want to see appear most on the Xbox Live Arcade. Voters can choose from on of the following titles: EarthWorm Jim, Golden Axe II, Shining Force, Revenge of Shinboi, Streets of Rage, Toe Jam & Earl and Wonder Boy (most of which are currently found on the VC service). Notice that at the end of the press release SEGA plans to have more special events taking place to commemorate the anniversary of the legendary console. Given that they promise more "exciting information", it's reason to be hopeful that they could have a release or two planned for the Virtual Console (or even the VCA) as well, such as Sonic & Knuckles or Earthworm Jim 2 - both of which have been eagerly anticipated by many for the longest time. 

Especially so now that SEGA is aware of what titles gamers want ever since Nintendo Life's recent feature asking readers to comment on what games they'd like to see. After seeing the feature, SEGA promised to take a look at the list and possibly even implement some of the suggestions so given what's going on now with the 20th Anniversary of the Genesis, it's quite likely that we may see some sort of news in the coming days for Wii owners!
