Konami Announces Nikoli's Pencil Puzzle for Nintendo 3DS Now Available

– Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Nikoli's Pencil Puzzle is now available for the Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system. From the world famous puzzle maker who brought us Sudoku, Nikoli's Pencil Puzzle includes 600 on-the-go brain teasers, divided across four diversely challenging gameplay types. Whether a newbie or a seasoned veteran, puzzlers can choose to play through the tutorial or challenge their puzzling skills through four separate difficulty levels.

The four entertaining games included are:
  • Sudoku - The classic numbers game comes to life
  • Hashi - Quickly link all the islands on screen with bridges, making sure to match the on-screen numbers to the amount of islands being connected together
  • Shikaku - Divide the board into rectangles where each piece has to be included with the digit that will be the size of the boxes.
  • Akari - Light up an entire hall without overlapping the lighting with the limited number of lights given. The light illuminates until it hits the wall.

Featuring dual screen support, fans can enjoy the puzzle frenzy with the lower screen displaying the game and the upper screen showing the pieces.
